Show device characteristics

NEW! (V2.0): This view shows the currently selected device basic characteristics and pin-out of the most common package.

If available, the datasheet and programming specifications documents links are shown.

These links are not direct links (you see the "?" wild-card in the reference: it is for the MCHP's document version suffix.

When you click on a link, after prompting you PMP is able to:

• Connect to the Microchip site to check for versions of the document.
• Download these documents (in the Windows shared documents folder, "Pic Micro Pascal\Documents" sub folder.
• Open the latest document if a PDF reader software is installed.

Optionally, the "Add tool" button creates / updates a new line in the user tools menu to open the datasheet document.
